After 10 years of initial training, he developed his skills as a General Practitioner and Family Doctor in the Jura Mountains and the Alsace region, before moving out to Hong Kong where he worked for the MOD in the British Military Hospital from 1989 to 1991.
Back in France, he became a ski resort doctor in the Jura and an emergency medicine medical practitioner with the SAMU Jura.
He is also a qualified European Mountain Leader since 1994.
Between 1997 and 2020, he resided and worked in London, UK.
Two years of private practice for home visiting services were followed by a 12-year partnership in an NHS Surgery in the Notting Hill area, where he contributed to the care of 8000 patients of all ages and more than 50 nationalities.
The friendships developed there are still influencing Dr Dock and make him an expert in multicultural environments.
From 2012 to 2020 he has practised as a senior private GP in Mayfair, looking after patients from all over the world.
